Elizabeth traveled across the ocean to teach 80 Irish and English
men and women at Ballymaloe Cookery School in County Cork, Ireland.
Needless
to say, they were fired up about American grilling and barbecue.
Elizabeth is pictured with Darina Allen, owner of the school and
her students.

Gretchen is a certified Kansas City Barbecue Society. This year,
while in Lynchburg, TN judging, the Jack Daniels barbecue
contest Gretchens motto was Stomach Dont Fail
Me Now.
Putting
her skills to work, she consumed nearly 15 lbs. of meat. Gretchen
is pictured bundled up (for an unseasonably cold day) and donning
all of her judges credentials.
The
Girls love to make Beer Can Chicken!
We
swear its the best roasted chicken youll ever make or
eat and it gets a hearty laugh at every cookout.
Elizabeth got some brisket tips from the firemaster at the original
Kreuz Market in Lockhart, Texas. Check out her recipe for Hill County
Brisket in our ecipes section.
For
an authentic touch, serve it on slices of brown butcher paper with
sliced white bread and sour pickle slices!
